Os torcedores do Flamengo que estão ansiosos por reforços terão boas notícias nesta semana. O departamento de futebol do clube confirmou ao LANCE! que haverá novidades com relação a negociações nos próximos dias. Em dezembro, o Rubro-Negro anunciou o lateral-esquerdo Miguel Trauco, peruano de 24 anos, e negocia para trazer outros três reforços.

A expectativa é que a situação do atacante Marinho seja resolvida muito em breve. O empresário do jogador, Jorge Machado, vai se reunir com a diretoria do Vitória para apresentar a proposta do Flamengo. O agente já disse abertamente que o Flamengo tem prioridade nas tratativas. Além disso, o atacante tem o interesse em defender o clube carioca.

O volante Rômulo também está próximo de um acordo com o Flamengo e pode ser anunciado em breve. Outra negociação em curso é com o meia Conca. O argentino está em fase de recuperação de uma cirurgia no joelho esquerdo. Se tudo der certo, a dupla estará presente no Ninho do Urubu na reapresentação do elenco, no próximo dia 11.

Following their promotion to the Premier League after a highly impressive Championship-winning season, Daniel Farke must axe returning Norwich City centre-back Timm Klose this summer.

With FC Basel recently confirming that they would not be taking up the option to purchase the 33-year-old following his loan spell at the club, Klose looks set to return to Carrow Road ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.

That the Swiss club are not taking up their option to buy the £450,000-rated defender may come as something of a surprise for Stuart Webber and Norwich, as the Switzerland international had been in rather fine form for the Super League runners-up this term.

Over his 28 appearances for Patrick Rahmen’s team this season, Klose helped his side to keep six clean sheets, as well as averaging 1.5 interceptions, 0.9 tackles and 6.1 clearances per game, culminating in an average SofaScore match rating of 7.03 – ranking him as the club’s eighth-best performer in the Swiss top flight.

However, these displays should not tempt Daniel Farke into welcoming the £20,000-per-week defender back into his squad ahead of their Premier League campaign, as his level of performance in the top flight for Norwich last season was simply not of the standard required to survive in the league.

Indeed, over his seven league appearances in the club’s Premier League jaunt in 2019/20, Klose failed to help Norwich keep a single clean sheet, while also making an average of one interception, 1.1 tackles and 3.6 clearances per game, in addition to averaging a SofaScore match rating of a mere 6.59.

As such, with the centre-back now being two years older, and likely slower and less fit, it would be an very unlikely scenario that Klose will be any better suited to Premier League football this time around, with it being a fair assumption to make that Farke – who previously claimed that the defender makes a number of “costly” errors for the club – will not utilise the 33-year-old all that often.

With the former Wolfsburg man still picking up a hefty wage at Carrow Road, it would seem highly advisable for Webber to do all he can to move Klose on this summer – something which would also free up a chunk of the club’s wage bill to possibly be spent on a potential new signing.

Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard has rejected a move to Liverpool, who would have paid him more than three times the amount of his Hoops deal.

That’s according to a report from Anfield Central, who suggested that the French forward turned down a Merseyside move following a phone call with Reds manager Jurgen Klopp.

Edouard, who earns £19,000 per week at Celtic Park, would have been on a contract worth £60,000-a-week at Anfield.

The 23-year-old’s Parkhead deal expires in just over 12 months’ time and he wants to leave the Hoops this summer regardless of who comes in as Neil Lennon’s successor.

To us, this latest update may spell trouble for new Celtic CEO Dominic McKay. If Edouard were keen on a move to Liverpool, they may have been willing to fork out a substantial fee for the striker, whose contract is running down.

However, with a move to Anfield no longer on the cards, that is one less club now in the running for the Frenchman. That may prove to be bad news for the Hoops, as it could tempt other interested suitors into offering a lower fee, or worse still, happy to wait until January 2022 when they could discuss a possible free transfer.

Celtic also owe Paris Saint-Germain 40% of any deal involving Edouard, so to us, it’s crucial that the Hoops receive as much as possible in seeling him, or they could make a loss on the striker for whom they paid a club-record £9.27m fee back in 2018.

أكد البرازيلي مارسيلو أنه يحلم بإنهاء مسيرته في ريال مدريد بل واللعب مع نجله في صفوف النادي الملكي، كما استرجع ذكريات انضمامه للميرنجي.

وتحدث مارسيلو كذلك عن نجوم ريال مدريد السابقين، في الفترة التي انضم فيها للوس بلانكوس، وذلك خلال مقابلة نشرتها صحيفة “ماركا” الإسبانية.

مارسيلو افتتح الحديث عن كونه يحمل شارة قيادة ريال مدريد قائلاً: “لا توجد امتيازات، أولًا وقبل كل شيء، إنه فخر بأن أكون أحد القادة، لأن هناك ثلاثة آخرين، إنها مسؤولية كبيرة جدًا، يمكننا التحدث إلى الحكم، ربما شيء أقوى، لكن كل زملائي يمكنهم فعل ذلك”.

وعن اللاعبين الشباب، أفاد البرازيلي: “نحاول مساعدة جميع اللاعبين، عندما وصلت كان عمري 18 عامًا وكان سيرجيو راموس في التاسعة عشرة من العمر، لقد ساعدوني وراعوني لأن هذا ما يفعله ريال مدريد”.

وأكد قائد ريال مدريد: “أحاول المساعدة، وأمضي قدمًا بعض من تجربتي في النادي، مع الوقت الذي كنا فيه قدامى المحاربين، لم يكن الأمر سيئًا بالنسبة لنا، إذا كانت لديك الفرصة لاختيار مثال فهو نحن”.

وواصل مارسيلو حديثه: “وعندما وصلت كان العقد موجودًا، لم أفكر مرتين، وقعت، لكن كل شيء كان سريعًا للغاية، سألني كابيلو إذا كنت أريد للبقاء حتى عيد الميلاد، لكنني عدت إلى البرازيل لأنني كنت خائفًا قليلًا”.

وعن ديفيد بيكهام، استرسل مارسيلو: “كان الأكثر إثارة للإعجاب، لأنه كان أكثر من مجرد لاعب كرة قدم، لقد كان نجمًا، روبرتو كارلوس، سيرجيو، فان فيستلروي، سالجادو، راؤول، كاسياس … كان من الصعب علي التحدث باللغة الإسبانية في البداية، تخيل الإنجليزية، لكن بيكهام والجميع كانوا لطفاء للغاية، راؤول، الذي كان القائد، عاملني أنا وعائلتي بشكل جيد للغاية “.

وبشأن مستقبله حيث ينتهي عقد مارسيلو مع ريال مدريد بنهاية الموسم الحالي، أصر البرازيلي: “أنا هادئ للغاية، ريال مدريد نادي حياتي وما يدور في تفكيري هو أن أظل ألعب في ريال مدريد حتى يكبر ابني ويمكنني اللعب معه، أريد الاستمرار على مستوى عال، الآن لدينا مباريات مهمة، أنا قائد أفضل فريق في العالم وأنا هادئ للغاية، أشعر بالحماية الشديدة، لا أفكر أكثر، كل شيء له نهاية، أود الاستمرار والاعتزال هنا لكن لست أنا من يقرر”.

وأتم بشأن نجله: “أنا لا أتحدث معه كثيرًا عن كرة القدم لأن هناك مدربين أكفاء للغاية في مدريد، لكن عندما أذهب إلى المباريات أقاتل مع الآباء والأمهات بالطبع”.

With Mamadou Sakho being linked with a summer exit from Crystal Palace, it is fair to say that signing of the Frenchman has not gone as envisaged for the Eagles.

Recruited from Liverpool for a reported fee of £26m in 2017 after initially impressing on loan, the 2013 Ligue 1 champion looked a clever buy. However, the south London club have certainly not received value for money, with the defender now apparently interesting Lazio.

In the four years since his permanent arrival at Selhurst Park, Sakho has made just 67 appearances as a full-time Eagles player due to a series of fitness issues. For context, Sakho has missed the same number of games through various injuries, indicating how often he has been ruled out.

Whilst his huge transfer fee, the second-highest in the history of Crystal Palace, looks extortionate considering the 31-year-old’s lack of action, the huge outlay on Palace’s part is worsened when taking into account the former Paris Saint-Germain defender’s wages.

Having earned £5.2m on an annual basis, this means that Sakho has scooped approximately £20.8m in pay in his time with the Eagles.

When added to the eye-watering fee that it took to bring him to Selhurst Park in 2017, it means that he has cost the club approximately £46.8m over his time at Palace – an amount certainly not befitting a player who has not readily been available for selection on regular occasions.

With the 31-year-old out of contract at the end of the season, it’s next to impossible for Steve Parish to recoup any of that considerable outlay.

If Sakho does indeed move to Lazio come the end of his Palace deal this summer, the club will be left to reflect on what has been a hugely costly and frankly disastrous transfer.

Amidst rumours that Leicester City could be on the hunt for a new striker in the summer, one of their previous transfer targets could be on the move.

According to Turkish outlet Takvim, FC Porto striker Moussa Marega has caught the eye of Fenerbahce, with the club apparently considering a swoop.

Having been linked with a switch in the past, the Foxes really should reignite their previous interest in the Malian and finally bring him to the King Power Stadium.

Now aged 29, Marega has been nothing but clinical with current employers Porto.

Whilst he has not been as lethal this season having struck on just 11 occasions in all competitions, his record at the Estadio do Dragao is still supremely impressive. He has plundered 71 goals and also provided 33 assists in 184 appearances for the club since his arrival from Maritimo in January 2016 – in his professional career as a whole, he’s bagged an impressive 114 goals.

That is form that saw him labelled as “incredible” by current Porto Head Coach Sergio Conceicao.

Marega then would certainly provide the likes of Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho with high quality competition for an attacking starting berth under Brendan Rodgers.

Whilst it is clear that the £12.6m-rated forward is a high-quality player, the Foxes would also be able to get him at a bargain price.

His current contract with Porto is set to run down at the end of the season so would be available on a free transfer.

So, with one of Rodgers’ reported transfer priorities ticked off for nothing, this would therefore leave more funds available to spend on other departments in the team.

After all, it is a move that could potentially work for both parties, with the striker himself previously suggesting that he would like to “live a new experience” potentially in the Premier League.

Whilst Leicester have not been linked with Marega this time around, Rodgers really should reignite the club’s interest in the two-time Portuguese champion and finally bring him to the East-Midlands to fulfill his striker wish.

It has been revealed recently that Ronaldo, who is revered as one of the greatest strikers of all time, was subject to a bid from Rangers in 1997, as they attempted to bring the Brazilian to Ibrox following his fall-out at Barcelona.

In a documentary released by Sky Italia last week, Ronaldo’s former agent Giovanni Branchini spilt the beans on Ronaldo’s career and his dramatic exit from Barcelona in 1997, which saw him leave the Catalan club after just one season following a contract dispute, despite him only recently being named the World Player of the Year.

As per the Daily Record, Branchini revealed in the documentary that whilst contract talks with Barcelona were stalled, he and Ronaldo considered the interest being shown by “Lazio, Inter and Glasgow Rangers”.

He also suggests that Rangers made an “incredible” offer for the superstar striker, one that meant that he would only feature in European matches, but in the end, they took the decision to sign for Inter.

He would go on to score 59 goals in 99 appearances for the Serie A side before making the switch to Real Madrid in 2002, where he enjoyed arguably the best spell of his career, hitting 104 goals for Los Blancos.

Although the Ibrox outfit managed to win the Premiership and two domestic trophies the following season under Dick Advocaat, they failed to progress in the Champions League group stages the following season, so it would have been interesting to see how they would have done with a player of Ronaldo’s immense quality up front.

Despite suffering a number of injuries, the Brazilian still enjoyed a decorated career which saw him win the World Cup and Ballon d’Or twice.

Glasgow Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has revealed he would like to move to the Premier League and has said it is one of his big dreams to play in England.

Morelos was heavily linked with a move away from Ibrox last summer, with him even said to have agreed personal terms with Ligue 1 side Lille. However, a transfer never materialised.

Speaking to Caracol Radio in Colombia, the £10.8m-valued 24-year-old has revealed his desire to play south of the border. He said:

“One of my big dreams is the Premier League.

“It is one of the best leagues in the world, there are many important players and important teams. If the opportunity presents itself on my way I am going to take it in the best way.

“It is a football very similar to Scottish football and I would like it very well.”

Unsurprising

This is far from surprising. Morelos has already indicated his desire in the past to play in a more prestigious league (Goal.com); and now that the Gers’ status as Premiership champions has been confirmed, he may well feel that his work in Scotland is done.

At the end of the day, many will always have felt he was destined to play in one of Europe’s top five leagues. Given the Gers have just romped to the title and are in with a chance of making the Europa League quarter-finals, the former HJK Helsinki man’s value may never be higher. A move this summer is perhaps best for all parties.
